Start

    Miłocin
    0 km
    Miłocin

The tour starts at the Rzeszów-Miłocin railway stop. Head northwest, deep into an estate of single-family houses. You will drive along St. Hubert's Street, and the invocation under which the nearby church functions emphasises the area's connection with hunting and gamekeeping. Don't deviate from the road. The planned change of direction will not take place until Rudna Wielka, just past the church. The Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, despite its distinct Baroque style, is new, having been consecrated only in 1936. What draws your attention is the 3 arcaded screen bell tower, typical of the Podkarpackie region. When you get to Rudna Mała along the dirt road, turn left at the crossroads and after 30 m turn slightly right. You will reach the A4 motorway, via a narrow road, then use the underpass under it. At the second junction after the motorway, turn left to go between the ponds. If you go 100 m to the right, you will come to a fortified settlement. This is a small hill on a promontory between the ponds. Continue ahead along the highway. After the next culvert, turn slightly right towards Bratkowice. Reach the church and turn right. You will pass the manor park and enter the forest. After 2.2 km, turn left. There is 7 km of forest road in front of you. After 3.8 km, turn right and, with a slight curve to the left, continue heading west. If you decide to go one kilometre north, you will come across the Zabłocie Nature Reserve, where the wild areas of the Sandomierz Forest and bird habitats are protected.

    Beaver Dam
    23 km
    Beaver Dam

When leaving the forest on the Tuszymka, there is a beaver dam. A discerning observer will notice traces of these animals' activity; trees barked at the ground and teeth marks. Some of the trunks lie fallen. There are also visible dams, halting the course of the river and creating floodplains. As you leave the forest road, turn left, heading south. You will reach Czarna Sędziszowska; turn right at the crossroads. After 2 km you will come to a church with a nice brick screen belfry. Head for the viaduct over the motorway and reach Krzywa. It's worth turning off the road there to the Bauerówka airstrip, where a local collector has collected several military and civilian machines. These include two Soviet-made MiG-21 and two MiG-23 fighter planes, a Polish TS-11 Iskra training plane and, the largest of them all, a four-engined passenger Il-18. At the OSP (voluntary fire station), turn off into the fields, heading east. You will be sure you have taken the right route when you pass the statue of St. John of Nepomuk. Continue to the crossroads, taking the right exit for Poręby Pierwsze. Follow the paved road and at the crossroads in the woods, turn right, avoiding Poręby Drugie. After 840 m, turn left and continue along the main road for 4km. At the end of the forest, you will pass a water treatment plant. In the village, turn towards the motorway and take the service road, turning towards the village only after the buildings of a small factory.
