About this route
The loop, which starts in Rymanów-Zdrój, is attractive and also relatively easy. There is one long uphill stretch on gravel pavement, and the rest of the way is flat and on asphalt. The trip is a good opportunity to visit one of the most popular spa towns in the region.
Practical advices
A route with a moderate level of difficulty will allow you to test your fitness. Remember that the terrain has a huge impact on how many kilometres you can cover. Trails on flat roads are less strenuous than those on hills or mountain roads.
Planning a group trip? Match the route to the fitness of the weakest participant.
A helmet and light clothing made of breathable materials will be essential for safety and comfort on the route. Other than that, only put on the essentials. Heavy luggage will make your ride more difficult. Also, think about what you will carry the necessary items in. We suggest a backpack or panniers for your bike.
Be prepared for possible breakdowns on the route. It is a good idea to carry the most important tools for a quick fix, such as inner tubes or patches, a pump or a multi-tool. Make sure you have enough water and food, as well as navigation equipment.
Is it looking like a warm and sunny day? Remember sunscreen and sunglasses. If you are planning sightseeing or other activities along the route, a bike lock will also be very useful. Before you leave, carefully examine your route for the trip. Consider whether your skills and equipment are adequate for the level of difficulty of the route.

Route details
Rymanów-Zdrój - Rymanów - Sieniawa - Pastwiska - Rudawka Rymanowska - Wisłoczek - Deszno - Rymanów-ZdrójStart
- 1Rymanów-Zdrój0 kmRymanów-Zdrój
Your journey begins in the spa town of Rymanów-Zdrój. It is best to begin in the centre of the town. This will make it easier to find a convenient parking spot.
Rymanów-Zdrój has both historical buildings from the early days of the spa (such as the pump room) and modern attractions such as an amphitheatre on the water, mini graduation towers, and a renovated spa park.
You will ride the entire route on the Rymanów Forestry Office's black cycle trail. It follows a cycle path at first, then local streets along the Tabor river in the direction of Rymanów. Before the town centre, the trail turns right and heads east. We recommend going straight ahead to see the local market square and baroque church first.
- 2Rymanów4 kmRymanów
The aforementioned charming market square, as well as the baroque Church of St Lawrence, can be found here.
- 3Sieniawa9 kmSieniawa
Before Sieniawa you will leave the black trail again. At the crossroads, go straight ahead. This will allow you to see the wooden Greek Catholic Tserkva of Nativity of the Mother of God, located on Lake Sieniawskie. Then, take regional road no. 889 for a short distance, ending with a right turn in the direction of Pastwiska.
- 4Pastwiska13 kmPastwiska
Pastwiska gives you the option of spending your time in two ways. You can go sightseeing here by visiting the Cardinal Karol Wojtyła Regional Memorial Center or the Lt. Geisler Memorial Chamber. Pastwiska also has a car park with a canopy and extensive meadows if you want to relax.
Before the buildings of Rudawka Rymanowska, be sure to turn left along the edge of a meadow. Here, in a bend of the Wisłok river, you can admire an impressive shale exposure.
- 5Rudawka Rymanowska17 kmRudawka Rymanowska
Many people consider Rudawka Rymanowska to be one of the prettiest places on the map of the Low Beskid Mountains' attractions. It is here, directly on the Wisłok River, that strongly deformed shale (exposed menilite shale) is found.
Beyond the village, you leave the Wisłok valley and head towards Wisłoczek. It is a relatively agricultural village.
- 6Wisłoczek22 kmWisłoczek
The last buildings are on a steep slope, which you will have to overcome. Follow the trail to the right through the fields and into the forest.
Driving through the woods, you will pass a small chapel, commonly known as the „Kurierska” (Couriers), which served as a landmark for couriers during the war. You can treat it the same way today.
