In spite of one rather demanding ascent to the Kaniowiec Mountain, the route can be classified as one of those in the easy category. However, the loop can be traversed by avoiding this place. The trip abounds in beautiful views, provided by Dynów's nature and numerous attractions. During the journey, you will pass, among other things, a fishing ground. You can make a longer break at the Dynów market square. It is worth strolling along the streets, paying attention to their historic layout.

Practical advices

Although this route is not demanding, it is worth preparing for it properly, so that nothing surprises you at any point. Start with the most important thing, which is your helmet. A good helmet is essential for your safety. Take care also of proper lighting, both front and rear. In addition to bike lights, equip your bike with reflectors so that you are highly visible on the road.

 

What else is worth taking with you on a trip? Make sure to pack a sweatshirt or a rail jacket in your backpack, in case the weather changes. It is also a good idea to bring snacks to give you energy during the trip. Protein bars or energy mousses work well.

 

If you plan to take visit the attractions along the route, you will need to leave your bike behind in some places. To make sure it is still there after the tour, be sure to bring a bike safety device such as a U-Lock or any bicycle lock.

    The cycling tour starts in Bachórz, near the junction of regional roads no. 884 and 835. You can leave your car at the nearby car park near the Karczma pod Semaforem restaurant.

    At the beginning of the route, it is worth seeing the Skrzyński Mausoleum. It is a 15-metre high mound topped with a cross and a statue of the Virgin Mary. Inside the 19th-century mound is the family crypt of the Skrzyński family.

    When you have visited the Mausoleum, head down the concrete slab road and return to regional road no. 884.

    Following the signs of the blue hiking trail, you will go around the manor complex. Follow the local asphalt road all the way to regional road no. 835.

    Take regional road no. 835 straight ahead. When you pass a small fishery, cross the regional road no. 884 and follow Polna Street to the centre of Dynów.

    Dynów is a town rich in attractions, one of which is the Church of St Lawrence. This temple was built in 1462. Compared to what can be seen today, it looked quite different then. The church has undergone many changes since the 15th century. One of these was the conversion of the wooden nave to marble walls. Despite the passage of time, the interior furnishings still retain their Baroque character; particularly noticeable in the pulpit and the baptistery. The interior of the church shows Renaissance and Baroque styles.

    Of course, the market square of Dynów should not be forgotten. Walking through its streets, it is easy to spot the large statue of King Władysław Jagiełło. A little further on you will find the illuminated fountain, popular with tourists, especially at night.

    Continue along Mickiewicza and then Piłsudskiego Streets. When you reach the crossroads with a side road, Głęboka Street, decide whether you want to go to the mountain Kaniowiec. If not, continue along Piłsudskiego Street.

    To reach the top of the mountain, continue along the Głęboka Street. You will be faced with a rather demanding ascent of over a kilometre. From the top, you can admire the panorama of the Dynów Foothills. Apart from the amazing views, the effort is rewarded by an exciting descent on the way back. At the fork in the road, turn off from Głębokia Street onto Rogozów Street
