You start the route in Cieszanów. If you arrive at the starting point by car, you can park it at the market square.

The other option is to reach the area by train. However, consider that the nearest train station is in Lubaczów, about 10 km from Cieszanów.

Cieszanów is a small borderland town. Its origins date back to the 16th century. You will find several historical buildings here, such as:

    1. Tserkva of St. George. This brick Greek Catholic temple was built in the early 20th century. After the war, it ceased to serve as a place of worship. It was used as a warehouse for a while, but then it deteriorated. In 2015, a concert and exhibition centre was built here. After renovation, valuable polychromes by Grzegorz Kuźniewicz were discovered. They decorate the interior of the building.
    2. Former synagogue (now a daycare centre for senior citizens).
    3. The Sport-Recreational Centre "Wędrowiec” (located by a lagoon). Here you will find a sandy beach, swimming equipment rental, a tyrolean, sports fields and a children's playground.

You will reach "Wędrowiec” by heading east along Mickiewicza Street. After passing it, follow the signs of the brown cycle trail and then turn south.
