Short, easy and enjoyable. These three words can be used to describe this route. You will start your adventure from Dubiecko. The easiest way to get there will be by car, which you can leave at a large car park on Słowackiego Street. Even before hopping on your bike, it is worth visiting the Kresowy Dom Sztuki (Borderland Art House). If you deviate slightly from the route, you will also reach the castle in Dubiecko. Although the route is classed as easy, it also has its challenges. The most difficult is the stage after leaving Słonne. The asphalt road then changes into a dirt road, and with unfavourable weather conditions, it can be difficult to traverse. On the route, there is no shortage of places that reward the effort put into driving, as the views you can enjoy during the trip are breathtaking.
Practical advices
Although this route is not demanding, it is worth preparing for it properly, so that nothing surprises you at any point. Start with the most important thing, which is your helmet. A good helmet is essential for your safety. Take care also of proper lighting, both front and rear. In addition to bike lights, equip your bike with reflectors so that you are highly visible on the road.
What else is worth taking with you on a trip? Make sure to pack a sweatshirt or a rail jacket in your backpack, in case the weather changes. It is also a good idea to bring snacks to give you energy during the trip. Protein bars or energy mousses work well.
If you plan to take visit the attractions along the route, you will need to leave your bike behind in some places. To make sure it is still there after the tour, be sure to bring a bike safety device such as a U-Lock or any bicycle lock.

Dubiecko is famous for its palace and park complex. It is the former residence of the Stadnicki and Krasicki families. It is interesting to note that the famous writer Ignacy Krasicki was born here in 1735. The place has undergone many reconstructions over the years. Once serving a defensive function, the building now functions as a hotel and restaurant.
After leaving the car park, follow the cycle trail (Słowackiego Street) towards the village of Wybrzeże.

When you see an old granary from the 20th century, turn left at the intersection and follow the cycle trail markings along the San.

At the last buildings of Słonne, go under the bridge. This will take you to the reserve. Here the asphalt road changes to a dirt road.
The Kozigarb Nature Reserve covers more than 33 hectares. The area was established in 2012 to protect meander mountain. The area of the reserve is mainly covered with mountain beech and oak-hornbeam. There are beautiful views of the local landscape. You can admire streams and exposures of Carpathian flysch.
When you leave the forest, follow the asphalt road. At the intersection, turn right and ride to the next point.

Head towards the village of Wybrzeże.

When you pass the 20th century granary, turn left and follow the trail markings as at the start of the tour, to Dubiecko.

At the end of the trip, two more attractions are worth stopping at. The first is the Kresowy Dom Sztuki (Borderland Art House). It is located in the Church of the Elevation of the Holy Cross. It is cared for by the Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Ziemi Dubieckiej (Society of Friends of Dubiecka Land). Thanks to the Society's efforts, the building has functioned as the Kresowy Dom Sztuki (Borderland Art House) since 2004. Various events such as concerts, art exhibitions and theatre performances are often held here during the season.
The second stop in Dubiecko is the Museum of Fossils and Minerals. Although it is small, it collects thousands of interesting exhibits.
