Museum of Fossils and Minerals in Dubiecko
The private museum was established in 2007 and protects prehistoric artefacts in the form of fossils of animals and plants that lived in the area during the Pleistocene period. Robert Szybiak, the owner and curator of the site, displays them in his cellar. Among the most interesting fossils are a right sparrow (its name, Jamna szybiaki, honours the site of the find and its discoverer), mammoth bones, crustaceans and their shells, protozoa, fish and plants. Due to the private nature of the exhibition, admission is possible by appointment.
