Spring of St. John of Dukla in Kombornia
The everyday and extraordinary paths of our lives lead us near places that, due to their integration into our daily lives, we fail to notice. Such is the case with the spring of St. John of Dukla in Kombornia, located by the side of national road no. 19. This place commemorates a miracle that is said to have happened to the saint when, from this very spring where he stopped to rest on his way to Lviv, angels took him to that city. The water from the still-flowing spring is crystal clear, perfect for preserves (as locals say), and is also believed to have miraculous properties. At the site of the miracle, a three-tiered lantern chapel was built in the 19th century, designed in the Baroque style.
