Treasury of local culture and art in a historic tenement house
Regional Museum in Jasło
The institution is located near the market square, on Kadyiego Street, in a house that he donated to the institution before his death. Collections of ethnography, artistic crafts, sacred art, and a reconstruction of a room from a bourgeois tenement house from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries are presented here. Numerous paintings, including those by local artists, a collection of clocks and porcelain, have been displayed on the walls and in display cases. Perhaps the oldest non-prehistoric monuments are two Gothic sculptures from the chapel in Osobnica - St. Hedwig of Silesia and St. Margaret from the late 14th century. From the surrounding villages evacuated after World War II, Greek Catholic church icons were saved and exhibited.
