Mycielski Manor Complex in Wiśniowa
Manor house with courtyard and garden
Mycielski Manor Complex in Wiśniowa
The original manor house in Wiśniowa was built in 1536, but it lost this status and is still one of the outbuildings surrounded by a newer structure. The current structure was built in the 17th century and rebuilt at the end of the 18th century. Very little of the design of the Baroque manor house with courtyard and court, based on the palace in Dukla, was achieved, but even this allowed the creation of a palace complex with a garden in the 19th century, architecturally very balanced and harmonious, the essential part of which is the main entrance with a portico supported by 4 columns. It is worth paying attention to the decorative, small triglyphs under the cornice of the roof. The park layout consists of 4 gardens: Renaissance, English, French and 19th century. The Mycielski family burial chapel is also worth a visit.
