The square with the town hall from the 17th century

Market Square in Sędziszów Małopolski

It is worth noting the town hall standing in the middle of the square, dating from the 17th century and rebuilt two hundred years later. A similar layout can be found, for instance, in Głogów Małopolski. The square is a regular rectangle measuring 90 by 120 metres. The former royal road cuts it from the north. The frontages consist of residential and commercial buildings, many of which are multi-storied, unfortunately without a distinct architectural style or eye-catching decorations. Today's square serves as parking for town hall employees and also as a representational space – in front of the entrance to the seat of the authorities, there is a monument erected on the centenary of regaining independence.
