Market Square in Rozwadów
A Market Square combining history, recreation and culture
Market Square in Rozwadów
The market square in Rozwadów – once an independent town, now a district of Stalowa Wola – testifies to the area's past. Having the shape of an almost regular rectangle measuring 147 by 163 metres, it now serves partly as a park and partly as a recreational area. A glance at the surroundings reveals the commercial-service roots of the buildings, some single-story and some multi-story. Some townhouses have retained remnants of their former Art Nouveau glory. In its current form, one can relax by the multimedia fountain or walk among several monuments erected here.
