Brine waters have therapeutic properties, with beneficial effects, particularly on the respiratory system. They have been known to humankind for centuries, and the brine springs in Sołonka were used as early as the 16th century. In the 21st century, based on the still-beating springs, a saline cascade was created in the village; a space was framed halfway by a stone wall with a brine water outlet, and the well was roofed over. The site is located almost in the forest, which increases its recreational and relaxation value. A children’s play area has also been organised at the spa grounds.
