Former Railway Station in Jawornik Polski
At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, it seemed that narrow-gauge railways, which required less effort and were less expensive than standard-gauge lines, would become the most important means of communication on many types of terrain, including the foothills. One of the many established during this period was the Przeworsk-Dynów Local Narrow-Gauge Railway. One of the significant towns on its route was Jawornik Polski. It received a brick-built station building. It is a simple structure, with its most distinguishing feature being a subtle cornice. An attentive observer will discern the outline of the original design in the now-converted and inhabited building.
