Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul in Handzlówka

The history of the local parish dates back to 1381 when Germans were settled here as part of a significant development program of eastern Lesser Poland, today's Podkarpackie. Over several centuries, three churches are known to have existed here, with the current one being the newest. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, it is an eastward-oriented church in Neo-Gothic style. Some equipment was retained from the previous, demolished building, while some, like the main altar, were added. The altar impresses with its craftsmanship, evident in its pointedness and richness of decorations. The oldest elements are the side altars from the 18th century.
