Church of St. Apostles Peter and Paul in Sędziszów
The two symmetrically positioned screen bell towers relative to the church are a rare architectural layout. What heightens the emotion is the stylistic consistency of all elements, maintained in the Baroque order. This style was typical for structures from the second half of the 18th century. The simple front facade of the church is four-storeyed and rather sparse in stucco, likewise the body - single-nave with a transept and a distinct chancel – but the interior compensates for it abundantly. The richness of polychromy and stucco is extraordinary. The main, green-gold, two-tiered altar, of course, draws particular attention, as do other fixtures – the celebrant's seat, ornate pulpit, and side altars. From this style deviates the altar in the side chapel, considerably more modest.
