Castle Park in Łańcut

The environment of probably the biggest monument of Podkarpackie – the Łańcut Castle – is formed by a park. Created in the 18th century and developed over the following decades through new plantings and enlarging its area, it is a complex establishment. Surrounding the contour of the castle fortifications, it also forms shaded alleys leading to the main entrance. It comprises extensive lawns, turfs, and flower beds, as well as a decorative rose garden. A conscious walk through the park allows understanding the concept of connecting it with the palace into one harmonized complex, and to enjoy the beauty of age-old trees and statues hidden in their shades.
