Charming site of an old mill

Waterfall at the ruins of a former mill

The Eastern Roztocze is one of Poland’s most picturesque regions. Interestingly, the remnants of human activity, seized by nature, create extremely beautiful places, such as the waterfall in the ruins of an old mill in the village of Łówcza. A metre-high river gorge was the perfect place to build a mill. At the waterfall, there are ruins of stone foundations, overgrown with moss, surrounded by a coniferous forest. On the one hand, they testify to the use of the forces of nature by man, and on the other hand, they are also a monument to the fact that nature can take back its property.
