Market Square in Lubaczów
Lubaczów was located in 1376, which means that the market and its surroundings in terms of urban layout formed even before this moment, probably at the end of the 12th century. The layout is therefore typical for this period - a rectangular market square with a town hall inscribed in the row, with sacred places moved outside its borders, to adjacent streets. The square measuring 90 by 120 metres is surrounded by dozens of townhouses, almost all of which are multi-storey and brick. They were built in the 19th and 20th centuries. Currently, they represent a not very interesting style of decoration, only a few refer to the Viennese secession with their facade stucco. The market square is no longer a shopping centre, but it has retained administrative and representative significance.
