Romantic road among old lindens

Linden Alley in Huta Kryształowa

Long avenues planted with old trees on both sides are usually evidence of the former presence of manor houses. This is no different at Huta Kryształowa. The old linden trees that line the avenue have been planted since the 18th century along the access roads to the manor and the grange. The longest one is almost 600 m long and looks beautiful in every season. Unfortunately, the manor house no longer exists; it was burnt down in 1944 by a unit of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army. There are also 2 bunkers from the Soviet Molotov Line in the immediate vicinity of the village.
