Forest chapel of Our Lady in Nowiny Horynieckie

The current building is a largely reconstructed structure from the late 19th century, replacing a smaller and not much older chapel that protected the memory of the miraculous apparitions of Our Lady in 1636. The chapel takes the form of a small shrine in the tserkva style, topped by a small onion-shaped cupola. The chapel is tripartite, with a covered entrance, a nave, and a small presbytery with an altar. The interior conceals a well built into the middle of the stone `loor with a miraculous spring of healing water, especially effective for the eyes.
