Wooden manor museum - historic elegance and nobility's history

Museum of Nobility Culture in Kopytowa

The museum building is a wooden manor in the Polish style, erected on a stone foundation, single-storey, with a four-sloped roof. A beautiful terrace supported by simple Doric columns faces the driveway and invites to a similarly arranged side entrance. The restored interiors dazzle with intricate decorations on walls, ceilings, as well as with furniture, draperies, carpets, and everyday objects made with a love for beauty. All aspects of nobility life are presented here, from the simplest existential needs to the realization of political ambitions and the struggle for Poland's independence. It is worth noting that all renovation works were carried out by Andrzej Kołder, a history enthusiast and a collector of antiques, who decided to save this place from destruction and create a private museum here.
