Former wooden Greek Catholic tserkva of Dormition of the Holy Mother of God in Wróblik Szlachecki
A classic example of a Lemko church
Former wooden Greek Catholic tserkva of Dormition of the Holy Mother of God in Wróblik Szlachecki
A distinctly tripartite structure with a narthex, nave and chancel, each part topped by a separate octagonal dome. It stands out among the village buildings, as does the belfry standing next to it, covered with an umbrella roof. Despite its conversion to Roman Catholicism, the Orthodox decor has been retained - a partial iconostasis, 19th-century paintings with figural and geometric motifs. The church was built in 1869 and forcibly taken away from the Lemkos in 1945 during the wave of displacements under Operation Vistula.
