Besko Dam in Sieniawa
Sieniawa Lake was created in 1978, when a dam was erected on the Wisłok river. The reservoir serves typical functions - retention, flood control, breeding and recreational. The dam itself is impressive - it is 174 metres long, 8.5 metres wide at the crown and 38 metres high - and although it is far from the Solina Dam, it still amazes from a technical-engineering point of view. Additionally, the water accumulation in the reservoir with a capacity of 14 million m^3 was used to build a small hydroelectric power plant in the dam. Numerous species of fish live in the reservoir, including pikeperch, perch and catfish, but only half of the shores are conducive to fishing due to significant steepness.
