Natural History Museum of the Bieszczady National Park in Ustrzyki Dolne

The Natural History Museum of the Bieszczady National Park in Ustrzyki Dolne was established in 1986, crowning 18 years of work. It is a museum with a natural-history profile, presenting the natural and ethnographic wealth of the Bieszczady Mountains. Thus, the collections include remains of prehistoric animals, including a mammoth, a cave bear and a fossil bison, a cast of a woolly rhinoceros and plant fossils. The exhibition is enriched by models and photographs of buildings or equipment and tools used in the area. The facility is open all year round.
