Picturesque gorge of the river

Nature Reserve - Przełom Osławy pod Duszatynem

Charming and mysterious river meanders occur not only in Arizona but also in the Podkarpacie region. The Osława in Duszatyn near Komańcza flows in large meanders among the surrounding hills. This creates a rare in Poland phenomenon of a river gorge in the low mountains. A reserve established in 2000 protects this section of the river, including the beech and fir forest and the bears, wolves and lynxes, eagles, eagles and black storks living in the area. The track of the now defunct narrow-gauge railway runs through the reserve, beautifully integrated into the slopes.
