Small beaver reserve

Bobrowe (Beaver) Lake in Huczwice

The artificial reservoir was created in the 1990s as part of a programme to help restore the beaver population in the Bieszczady Mountains. It is a small but very charming lake, offering the opportunity to observe the life of these rodents. The reserve is also the habitat of the black stork. A small viewing deck, with a bench and bicycle racks, offers relaxation and the opportunity to observe nature. In addition, the place is interesting in terms of landscape, with a view of Chryszczata Mountain (997 m above sea level). It can only be reached on foot or by bicycle, along a path through the forest from the village of Rabe.
