The tserkva, now the Roman Catholic Church in Wańkowa, is a beautiful and imposing building of traditional wooden construction, preserving the division between the narthex, nave and chancel and the cupola on a steep, gabled roof. A low tower, added in the 19th century above the main entrance, stands out prominently in the mass. The building was constructed in 1726 in Ropienka but was moved to its present site in 1985, where it replaced the original church from 1792. The interior of the church is contemporary, due to elements of the original decor being ruined.
