Former brick Greek Catholic Tserkva in Zwierzyń
Temple with a rich history. The date of the foundation of the Greek Catholic temple in Zwierzyń is not known, but it is estimated that it could have been built even in the 17th century. In the first half of the 19th century, it was not used due to destruction - it was only in 1844 that its former function was restored. It suffered again between 1944 and 1947 when it was devastated and robbed during battles against Ukrainian partisans. Although it was taken over by the Roman Catholic Church, the division of the interior with the iconostasis and the narthex, and presbytery separated from the nave were left. There is also a stone gate with figures of saints in front of the main entrance.
