A less-known dam from the Bieszczady area is the facility in Myczkowce. It was under construction for many years. Works began in 1920 and was completed 40 years later. The structure is 386 m long and 17.5 m high, with a flow-and-balance hydropower power plant. The water reservoir created by the dam contains 11 million m³ of water. It is worth noting that remnants of a medieval settlement were discovered during construction, and Myczkowce itself was founded in 1376.
