Caritas Recreation and Rehabilitation Center

Organised in the buildings of a former military unit, the centre is both a religious centre and a sport and leisure complex. Attractions located in the area include the Biblical Garden, a mini zoo and an Ecumenical Cultural Centre with a miniature park. The latter contains more than 140 miniature churches located in the south-eastern Carpathian Mountains and belonging to various religions and cultures from Poland, Ukraine and Slovakia. The miniatures have been incorporated into vegetation corresponding to the surroundings of the originals, and their characteristic chants can also be heard from the temples.
