Wooden Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Jasienica Rosielna
The Baroque in the Podkarpackie region is not only monumental masonry churches but also wooden ones, marvelling at the skills of the ancient woodcarvers. The structure of the wooden building from 1770 with a log construction refers to the Baroque tradition with a pediment with two massive towers framing the main entrance, a three-nave construction with colonnades separating the side aisles from the main one and a semicircular presbytery. The interior is richly decorated with polychromes on the walls and ceilings. Attention is drawn to the main and side altars, maintained in a uniform style, and the organ prospectus. The Passion group is also visible on the rood beam.
