Sanctuary of Our Lady in Stara Wieś

The Sanctuary of Our Lady in Stara Wieś also contains a monastery complex next to the temple. The temple has a Baroque shape and a six-story facade with two towers in the corners that are crowned with ornate cupolas and wide staircases leading to the main entrance. The interior of the three-nave church of classical construction, built in the middle of the 18th century, dazzles with Baroque splendour. The sanctuary amazes with its huge main altar with columns and statues of saints, and with stucco on the walls in the form of half-columns, pilasters and cornices.
