Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola

The belief in the importance of local history was the basis for the establishment of a social committee, which from 1995 to 2002 worked to establish the Regional Museum in Stalowa Wola. The first exhibition attempts took place in the cultural centre, then the increase in the number of exhibits thanks to donations from residents necessitated the transfer of the institution to another, independent building. They received the historic Lubomirski Palace from the authorities. It houses regional relics in the sections: historical, history of the Central Industrial District, ethnographic, archeology, and art. The education department also operates actively.
