Museum of the Eastern Borderland in Lubaczów
Let us remember the Borderlands
Museum of the Eastern Borderland in Lubaczów
The building of the Museum, which gives a somewhat strange impression, is an 18th-century granary, itself an interesting monument. It has been the seat of the museum since 1986. The mission of the building is to preserve and present a collection of memorabilia of life in the Borderlands of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, as well as evidence of the coexistence of the Polish and Ruthenian peoples over the past centuries. The collections are divided into archaeological-naturalistic, artistic, ethnographic and historical. The facility also includes the castle and palace complex in Lubaczó w and the tserkva complexes in Radruż and Nowy Brusno. The collections are presented in a modern and interesting way.
