Restoration as an opportunity for historical ruins

Fredro Castle in Fredropol

Although this place is usually not open for tours, it is worth seeing it even from a distance. Fredro Castle in Fredropol (what an original name) is a 16th-century defensive structure in the bastion style. Currently, visible ruins include the south-west residential wing, located near the gate. The entire structure was built in a square plan with towers at every corner and protruding bastion-type earth fortifications. Its present state of ruin is due to the destructive management style of the local State Agricultural Farm because until the end of World War II, this building was still habitable. Currently, renovation attempts are underway.
