Magnificent brick church

Former Greek Catholic Tserkva in Buszkowice

The brick church was built in 1900 and replaced by an old wooden church building, the memento of which is the wooden bell tower left in the cemetery. The magnificent temple, now a Roman Catholic church, bears the characteristics of Byzantine sacred architecture. It has a distinctive structure with extensions and a magnificent dome over the nave set on a high drum. Inside, however, there are no longer any traces of its Greek Catholic past. Architecturally, nevertheless, it remains a fine example of a turn-of-the-century brick church.
