Floryda Reservoir in Leżajsk
The reservoir was created on the Jagoda River, keeping it within the city borders. This seems to have left almost no impact on the wildlife and nature that made their home in its surroundings for good. Beavers, otters, raccoons, deers, storks and ducks all live here. This is although the pond is used as a fishing spot by local anglers looking for carp, roach and tench. Swimming is prohibited here, and the site is included in the nature trail of the Jelna Forestry. There is also a marsh complex nearby, where beavers are particularly active.
