Church of St. Peter and Paul in Cieplice
It is evident to the discerning observer that the present Roman Catholic church in Cieplice was originally an Eastern Orthodox church. It was built in 1904 during the time when the area was inhabited by Greek Catholic Ruthenians and was dedicated to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The structure is a single-nave design with a distinct presbytery oriented to the east, side aisles, and a small vestibule. Above the intersection of the main nave and the transept stands a dome on a broad, high drum with eight windows. Another converted church is also part of the parish - located in Rudka, where an old wooden orthodox church still stands.
