Church from the 16th century with insurgent traditions

Church of St Anne in Zaklików

Although the church has undergone several renovations, it has maintained the distinct character of a 16th-century church. It was built in 1580 from larch wood, the building is single-aisled with a vestibule and chancel. Numerous alterations, including a temporary conversion to the Calvinist rite, have maintained the classical division of the interior with a rood beam, although the original decor has been lost. The main and side altars are early Baroque, with gold ornamentation. An interesting feature is the funeral plaques of parishioners hanging on the outer facade, it is a custom dating back to the January Uprising.
